The excursion «Kıeli Qazaqstan» is a project meticulously crafted to acquaint compatriots living abroad with Kazakhstan's significant sacred sites. Furthermore, its mission extends to disseminating information about diverse support programs available to Kandas, encompassing cultural and humanitarian opportunities, while fostering stronger bonds among Kazakh youth.
Participation in this event is open to young leaders of Kazakh cultural organizations residing abroad, youth advocates, journalists, bloggers, and accomplished compatriots who have made remarkable strides in sports and the arts.
To date, the journey has been conducted on five occasions:
The inaugural journey unfolded in 2018 within the city of Turkestan, uniting 20 enthusiastic participants.
In 2019, a meaningful excursion to the Mangystau region led to the establishment of the International Youth Organization «Jas Qazaq» with the involvement of another 20 individuals.
In 2020, 20 participants of the «Kıeli Qazaqstan» project went to the holy places of the Turkestan region and the city of Shymkent.
In 2021, an exploration of the Almaty region and the city of Almaty engaged 21 dynamic Kazakh youth representing Japan, Turkey, China, Iran, Russia, Mongolia, and Uzbekistan. Their journey included visits to iconic locations such as the Charyn Canyon, Lake Kaiyndy, the Altyn Adam Museum, and Lake Kolsai.
The most recent excursion, organized in 2022 in the newly established Abay region, convened 31 participants, including chairs of Kazakh youth organizations abroad, active youth advocates, and specialists from diverse fields.
