On July 14, 2025, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kingdom of Spain, a meeting was held in Madrid with the participation of leaders and active members of Kazakh cultural organizations residing in Spain.

The event brought together representatives of the “Kazakh Diaspora in Spain” and the “Kazakh House in Spain” organizations based in Madrid, the “Möldir Ümit” organization from Granada, as well as special guests from Valencia and Budapest.

During the meeting, President of the “Otandastar Qory” NJSC, Daniyar Kadyrov, presented the Foundation’s key initiatives and projects aimed at strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation with compatriots abroad, preserving national identity and the Kazakh language, and promoting Kazakh culture internationally.

Participants discussed proposals to enhance cooperation among Kazakh centers in Spain, organize a “Kazakh Women’s Forum” within the framework of the annual European Kazakhs Kurultai, and establish sister city relations between Granada and the cities of Shymkent and Turkistan in Kazakhstan.

At the end of the meeting, participants were presented with Kazakh language learning materials developed by the Shayakhmetov National Scientific and Practical Center “Til-Qazyna.”
