By the government resolution dated May 22, 2025, the institution "Kazakhstan Cultural Center in the City of Beijing" has been established under the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reports Zakon.kz.

The center was created within the framework of the agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and China on the mutual establishment of cultural centers, signed on November 27, 2023.

The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been designated as the competent authority for the institution.
