The public organization known as the "Otandastar Foundation" (further - Foundation) is seeking applicants for funding to support teachers offering in-person lessons in traditional Kazakh arts such as "Dombra", "Kazakh national dance", "Qazaqsha kures (national wrestling)", "Kazakh archery", "Togyzkumalak", and so on. The objective is to promote traditional art and national sports, particularly in countries with a significant population of Kazakhs living abroad.

The primary aim of the project is to widely showcase the traditional culture of the Kazakh people, fostering the spiritual modernization of the national consciousness among Qandas citizens. The Foundation initiated the project in April 2023.

Key project objectives include providing assistance to ethnic Kazakhs and compatriots residing abroad, promoting traditional art and national sports, and advocating for Kazakh national values.

The Foundation has outlined specific criteria for organizations or individuals wishing to conduct sessions locally:

  1. Possession of documentation verifying the professional qualifications of a teacher in traditional arts and national sports;
  2. Submission of an annual training plan;
  3. Assurance of a minimum attendance of 10-15 compatriots and ethnic Kazakhs per class;
  4. Delivery of a minimum of 12 classes per month;
