To the attention of Kandas!

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of RK and NJSC ‘Otandastar Fund’ adopted new simplified requirements for admission to higher education institutions of Kazakhstan for representatives of Kazakh nationality without citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan abroad. These changes were implemented according to the orders of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 600 and № 204.

The new requirements include:

1. for representatives of Kazakh nationality without citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, there is no threshold score when taking the UNT.
2. instead of five exams, three exams are taken (on the literacy of reading and on two profile subjects in a chosen direction).
3. the possibility of choosing four higher education institutions is preserved.
4. citizens who are not fluent in Kazakh may take the exams in Russian.
