By the Decree of the Head of State, Olzhas Mukhamedgalymovich Suleimenov was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Sweden.
He was born on July 2, 1980 in Pavlodar. In 2002, he graduated with honors from the Almaty State University named after Abay. In 2011, he received a master's degree from the University of Nottingham in the UK under the Bolashak international program.
He began his diplomatic career in 2002 as a specialist in the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 2003 to 2004, he held the position of attaché in the Department of Europe and America, and from 2004 to 2005, he worked as an attaché, and then as the third secretary of the Chancellery of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Before his appointment as Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Sweden, he was the Director of the Department of Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from March 2022.
