December 3, 2024 Chairman of the Industry Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azamat Panbaev met with the Counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Kazakhstan Su Yu.

From the Chinese side, the meeting was attended by the third secretary of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Kazakhstan Shiyu Wang, third secretary Han Shu and Embassy attaché Ruiqi Zheng.

The participants discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of strategically important minerals used in clean energy technologies, as well as the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed in July 2024 during the visit of President Xi Jinping to Kazakhstan.

In the future, the parties plan to organize meetings with delegations of Chinese companies and Kazakh enterprises. During these meetings will discuss topical issues of cooperation between the two countries.

The parties also agreed to implement a number of important measures aimed at developing ties between the two countries.
