On August 27, 2020, the Otandastar Foundation held an online videoconference to explain to citizens who have moved from abroad the rules for obtaining a permanent residence permit in Kazakhstan and obtaining citizenship.

The event was attended by the coordinator of the Center for Information Support of Compatriots, the Steel Plant, representatives of the front offices of the society in the regions, as well as the senior inspector of the Migration Service Directorate of the Nur-Sultan City Police Department, Police Major Zhakupova Zhanar Yerlanovna.

During the meeting in the Online format, the Coordinator of the Compatriots Information Support Center, the steel plant, spoke about "the problems arising in the process of permanent registration of compatriots."

In turn, the senior inspector of the Migration Service Department, Police Major Zhanar Yerlankyzy, within the framework of the law, answered questions of interest and spoke about the forthcoming principles of "one window".

The participants in this videoconference asked questions and exchanged views on issues arising in migration processes.
