On August 24, 2020 at the KSU "Kogamdyk kelisim" of the akim's office of the WKO in an online format, the grand opening of the international festival "Altyn kópir" took place.

The aim of the festival is to establish close social and cultural ties with representatives of the Kazakh diasporas living in the territory of the Russian Federation through the organization of events aimed at preserving national identity, spiritual and cultural and historical heritage. As well as providing representatives of the Kazakh diaspora with methodological and organizational support in the study of their native language.

The event was attended by Didar Bolat, Advisor to the President of the Otandastar Foundation. During the meeting, he introduced the participants to the projects implemented by the Otandastar Foundation for youth, and also spoke about educational programs for the Kandastar and Kazakh diasporas abroad.

The festival will be held from 24 to 30 August 2020, which will be attended by representatives of the Kazakh diasporas living in the Russian Federation from among the leaders of university activists, opinion leaders, photographers, videographers, active journalists and athletes with the involvement of local specialists in linguistics, ethnographers, historians and leaders of youth public associations of the West Kazakhstan region.

Within the framework of the festival, online excursions will be organized to the regional museum of local history, training courses in the Kazakh language, master classes and trainings on teaching national types of applied arts, making a musical instrument (dombira), sports and recreational activities, dialogue platforms and a seminar on the topic: "Abai and Pushkin" and "Formula of Success".
