Kazakh Cultural Centre opens in Brussels

The «Til-Kazyna» Kazakh cultural centre opened its doors in Brussels, at the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Belgium.

In her speech, HE Mrs Aigul Kuspan, Kazakhstan Ambassador to Belgium, highlighted that the Centre's goal is to spread the rich history and multifaceted culture of Kazakhstan.

The «Til-Kazyna» is planning to conduct Kazakh language and literature classes, seminars on the history and culture of Kazakhstan, as well as various Kazakh craftsmanship and cuisine masterclasses. The Kazakh language classes will be taught to children by Mrs Meirgul Sabaz, a certified professor in Kazakh philology and literature. Moreover, the Kazakh dance group established two years in Brussels ​​will continue its work within the Centre. 

At the «Til-Kazyna» opening ceremony, the Kazakh children living in Brussels performed the national dance «Qamajai» and the song «Men qazaq ulimyn» to the applause of the audience.

«In the future, we would like the children from the Kazakh diaspora in Belgium and the Kazakhstan children adopted by Belgian families to join our Center. Their interest in Kazakhstan is very high», said Ambassador Kuspan.
