An online meeting was held between the "Otandastar Qory" NJSC and the republican newspaper "Nurly Zhol," published in Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by Kalybek Koblandin, Advisor to the President of the Foundation, and Alzhan Sharifov, Press Secretary, representing "Otandastar Qory," while Editor-in-Chief Gulamzakir Yusupov and the editorial staff represented "Nurly Zhol."

The primary goal of the meeting was to strengthen ties with Kazakh-language mass media abroad, expand information partnerships, and define mechanisms for implementing joint projects. The parties discussed current trends in the modern media landscape, ways to improve the quality of Kazakh-language content, and methods for expanding the audience.

Particular priority was given to launching joint projects within the framework of the Association of Kazakh-language Media Abroad, established under "Otandastar Qory." Proposals in this direction included conducting joint information campaigns, exchanging analytical and educational materials, and systematically publishing topics related to the Kazakh diaspora abroad.

Furthermore, the possibility of the "Nurly Zhol" staff participating in media competitions organized in Kazakhstan, such as the "Urker" National Award, "Kazakhstan through the Eyes of Foreign Media," and "State Language and Media," was considered. This initiative aims to pave the way for professional development and experience exchange among Kazakh journalists abroad.

During the meeting, the issue of establishing partnerships between "Nurly Zhol" and leading Kazakhstan publications—such as "Egemen Qazaqstan," "Turkistan," and "Aikyn" newspapers—was raised, alongside organizing internships and editorial exchange programs. Suggestions were also made regarding professional development courses for journalists and the creation of special joint projects.

The parties noted that such cooperation contributes to strengthening the information space of the Kazakh diaspora, reinforcing ties with the historical homeland, and encouraging the active involvement of Kazakh youth abroad in the media sector.

Notably, the "Nurly Zhol" newspaper has been regularly published in the Kazakh language across Uzbekistan since 1991. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the publication. In honor of this milestone, a series of cultural, spiritual, and informational events are planned, and the parties discussed potential support for these anniversary activities.
