Thai Air Asia X Launches Flights to Kazakhstan

04 September 2025

The Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues its work to expand the geography of flights and increase the number of international routes.

Starting from December 1 of this year, a new foreign low-cost carrier from the Kingdom of Thailand — Thai Air Asia X — will enter the Kazakhstani air transportation market. The airline will begin operating direct scheduled passenger flights on the Bangkok–Almaty route with a frequency of four flights per week (on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays).

The launch of air services between Kazakhstan and Thailand will contribute to the further development of trade and economic, business, investment, tourism, and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
