At the invitation of the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, A.T. Orynbayev, and the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, T.A. Khudaybergenov, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov took part in events dedicated to the Day of Friendship of Peoples, which is celebrated annually in Uzbekistan on July 30.
The celebration took place at the "Korateren" tourist complex in the Takhtakupyr district, featuring cultural performances, exhibitions, and meetings with representatives of the local community.
Cultural and humanitarian cooperation emerged as a key focus during the visit. The Ambassador visited Kazakh Secondary School No. 15 in the village of Beltau, where he met with the teaching staff and students to discuss the preservation of the Kazakh language and cultural traditions.
As a gesture of support, the Otandastar Qory donated a collection of works by Kazakhstani writers and poets to the school library. In response, the students prepared a literary program, reciting poems by Abai Kunanbayuly and noting that they are actively preparing to celebrate the 180th anniversary of the great poet and philosopher this year.
