On April 11, 2025, the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana hosted the official presentation of the three-volume collection “Selected Works”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the prominent figure of Kazakh literature — writer, playwright, and poet Magaz Razdanuly.
The event was jointly organized by the Astana branch of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan and the National Academic Library. The literary evening brought together representatives of the intellectual community, writers, literary scholars, public figures, readers, and media representatives.
Magaz Razdanuly was a writer who focused on historical themes, a witness to the difficult socio-political periods of the 20th century, and made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature in China. His works such as “Eagles of Altai”, “Ancient Times Speak”, “Yellow Steppe”, and “Reflections on the Mountain Passes” have become part of the golden treasury of literary heritage.
During the presentation, in-depth reports on the writer’s creative legacy were delivered, and memories were shared. Attendees emphasized the importance of his historical and literary contribution to contemporary Kazakh society.
The three-volume collection of selected works by Magaz Razdanuly is a valuable addition to the national spiritual heritage.
