The first Kazakh kindergarten in the U.S. opened in the state of California, reports Tengrinews.kz with reference to 24.kz.

The idea to create a children's educational center belongs to a Kazakhstan woman Zhanna Atabekova. According to her, now Kazakhstanis living and working in Silicon Valley have an opportunity to instill national values and teach the Kazakh language to the younger generation.

In addition to Kazakhs, Kyrgyz and American families will also be welcome to attend the kindergarten. And here is what parents whose children already attend the kindergarten say:

“We liked everything. We want our child to be educated in the same way as if he or she had been raised by grandparents.

“This daycare is important to keep our language alive. My youngest daughter Asima is 18 months old. I want her to know her native language.”
