Kazakhstan reaffirms commitment to open dialogue and interethnic harmony

On the sidelines of the Symposium on Public Administration and the China–Central Asia Humanitarian Exchange Dialogue, Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yevgeny Kochetov, held a meeting with Guo Weiping, Deputy Minister and Member of the Leading Party Group of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People's Republic of China.

The dialogue focused on strengthening good-neighborly relations. Both sides expressed interest in sharing best practices and launching joint initiatives, including those related to the academic support of interethnic harmony policies.

Yevgeny Kochetov emphasized that Kazakhstan, as a country with a model of national unity, is open to dialogue and cooperation. The Vice Minister expressed confidence that joint efforts will contribute to the development of unified approaches to ensuring peace and harmony in multiethnic societies.

Guo Weiping welcomed the initiatives put forward by the Kazakh side, noting that deepening bilateral dialogue in this area would not only enrich the experience of both countries but also make a meaningful contribution to sustainable peace and stability in the region.

One of the promising areas of cooperation proposed was the organization of joint scientific conferences, seminars, expert meetings, and other events focused on pressing issues of ethnopolitics.
