To improve the quality of tourism services and ensure transparency in the field of tour guiding, Kazakhstan has implemented a guide digitalization module aimed at systematically regulating their activities.
The module provides users with access to verified information about guides, enables guides to confirm their professional qualifications, undergo testing, and acquire additional knowledge.
Guides who successfully complete registration and testing receive an official standardized badge that certifies their status and professional competence. As of now, 93 guides have been awarded badges.
As part of an initiative to support qualified professionals, preferential access is granted at 41 tourist sites across the country. Discounted entry is available for badge-holding guides and those accompanying organized groups.
