Kazakhstan has ranked 70th out of 196 countries in the annual Human Progress Index (HPI) published by CEOWORLD magazine, according to a report by Kazinform.
The 2025 edition of the Human Progress Index takes into account a wide range of indicators, including quality of life, life expectancy, education level, per capita income, political stability, and opportunities for development.
The analysis is based on three core categories: stability, satisfaction, and balance, each scored on a 100-point scale.
Switzerland topped the global ranking, followed by Norway and Iceland. The top ten also included Hong Kong, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Singapore, and Australia.
Kazakhstan received a score of 79.32, placing it in the category of countries with a “very high quality of life.” The country also ranked first in the Central Asian region.
Earlier, Kazakhstan also identified its cities with the highest quality of life.
