Weightlifting: At the ongoing IWF Junior World Championships in Lima, Peru, Kazakh athletes have so far secured 2 gold medals.
Tennis: Zhibek Kulambayeva won the doubles title at the ITF W100 tournament in Madrid, Spain. In the final, the duo of Kulambayeva and Uergo defeated the Spanish pair Marina Bassols and Andrea Lazaro Garcia. This marks the fifth career title for the Kulambayeva–Uergo partnership.
