The Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aida Balaeva, took part in the 7th Cultural Summit held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The main themes of the forum centered around the impact of artificial intelligence on culture and human creativity, as well as the role of cultural ties in fostering peace for a sustainable future.

Speaking at the plenary session, Aida Balaeva emphasized the unique role of culture amid global instability.

“Culture is not merely a legacy of the past. It is a living mechanism of dialogue, a bridge between generations, nations, and religions. In times of prosperity and hardship alike, it has uplifted the spirit, inspired, and united people. Today, it remains our foundation for the future and the most constructive lever of international cooperation,” the Minister stated.

Balaeva also spoke about Kazakhstan’s centuries-old traditions of cultural diversity, where over one hundred ethnic groups live in harmony, preserving their languages and artistic heritage. She underscored that the principle of “Unity in Diversity,” proclaimed by the President of Kazakhstan, has become a solid foundation for peace and harmony in the country.

Delegations from 90 countries participated in the international gathering.
The summit served as an important platform for the exchange of ideas, the strengthening of international cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, and the development of new initiatives aimed at promoting peace through culture.
