Japanese Experts Study Kazakhstan's Hydraulic Structures

With the support of the Embassy of Japan, experts from the Japan International Cooperation Agency inspected 13 hydraulic structures in 4 regions of Kazakhstan.

The experts inspected facilities in Akmola, Karaganda, Aktobe and West Kazakhstan regions, which experienced high loads during floods.

Experts from the Netherlands held seminars on flood risk management in Astana and Aktobe under a memorandum between the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation and the Delft Institute of Water Education.
