KAFU's international educational programme "IT-Management" received German ASIIN accreditation

International educational programme "IT-Management", implemented by West Saxony University of Applied Sciences (Germany) together with Kazakhstan-American Free University and higher education institutions of Armenia (Armenian State Economic University), Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyz-German Institute of Applied Informatics), Georgia (International Black Sea University) has received accreditation in the Agency for Accreditation of Educational Programmes in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics (ASIIN, Georgia)

ASIIN accreditation is granted to an educational programme that meets academic and professional requirements at a high level, confirms compliance with the learning outcome oriented standards in line with the European Qualifications Framework and the "European Standards and Guidelines".

This programme aims to enable learners to link their professional competences with knowledge in computer technology, business information systems, management and business administration.

All universities participating in this agreement recognise all ECTS credits earned within this study programme.

In November 2023, the West Saxony University of Applied Sciences held a commencement ceremony for Master's students enrolled in this academic year.

Upon completion of the programme, KASU master's students will receive two diplomas: the Kazakhstan-American Free University and the West Saxony University of Applied Sciences (Germany).

The educational process takes place in English - disciplines, examinations, defence of the master's thesis. Writing of the master's thesis will be carried out under the guidance of two supervisors from the Kazakhstani and German side.
