Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balaeva met with Minister of Culture and Spiritual Development of the Republic of Sakha Afanasiy Noev.

During the meeting, they discussed various aspects of co-operation development that will contribute to strengthening cultural co-operation between the two countries.

In particular, the parties discussed the events to be held within the framework of the Days of the Sakha Republic in Kazakhstan in April 2024.

The events will be organised in Astana and Almaty.

Thus, from 17 April residents and guests of the capital will be able to get acquainted with the unique cultural heritage of Yakutia at the exhibition "Treasury of Yakutia".

In the chamber hall of the State National Kazakh Music and Drama Theatre named after Kalibek Kuanyshbaev a concert of the violin ensemble "Virtuosi of Yakutia" and the Olonkho opera "Nyurgun Bootur" are scheduled, in the hall of the Russian Drama Theatre named after Maxim Gorky there will be a performance of Olonkho "Kyys Dabiliye".

Concerts and performances will also be organised in the halls of Almaty's state theatres.
