The 5th World Nomad Games will be held in Astana from September 8 to 14, 2024. 4,000 participants are expected from more than 100 countries. The sports program of the Games consists of 20 competitive sports and 10 demonstration sports, in which 110 sets of medals will be competed.

“In order to form the infrastructure of the World Games, the most convenient principle of a “linear” arrangement was applied, where the maximum number of objects involved in the Games are located along one line: the Astana Arena stadium (the opening ceremony of the Games), the Alau Ice Palace ( folk games and types of martial arts), the Martial Arts Palace named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirs (competitions in sports), the conference hall of the Duman Hotel (competitions in traditional intellectual games), the Qazaqstan athletics sports complex (location of the Accreditation Center), the Kazanat hippodrome (equestrian and exhibition competitions),” said Abylay Kondybaev, Deputy Head of the Directorate for the Preparation and Holding of the World Nomad Games.
