The premiere of Nomad Inspiration programme, in cooperation with ethno-folklore ensemble HasSak, including national choreographic numbers and instrumental music, took place on the stage of the Grand Hall of Astana Opera Theatre.
The vibrant event was organised with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The programme included premieres of the numbers: ‘Toi Bastar’ and ‘Aralym’, created to the inspiring music of HasSak ensemble, as well as ‘Älem’ (‘Foundations of the Universe’) to the music of composer Hamit Shangaliev. In addition, the programme included numbers by the HasSak ethno-folklore ensemble, such as ‘HasSaqnama’, ‘Ūly Jıbek Joly’, ‘Zäuren’, ‘Añsau’, ‘Örleu’, ‘Tūran jolbarysy’ and ‘Tartu’.
It is important to note that this is not the theatre's first collaboration with the Kazakh ethno-folklore ensemble HasSak. The implementation of such an ambitious programme has become possible thanks to the Artistic Director of the ballet company, Altynai Asylmuratova, who actively supports and develops young choreographers within the walls of Astana Opera.
