The Ministry of Defense has developed a draft Government resolution on submitting to the Mazhilis of Parliament the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the ratification of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan providing resources to the UN Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) and the United Nations.”

A memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Nations was signed on February 14, 2024 in New York. The document is aimed at creating a legal basis for sending the national contingent of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN peacekeeping mission in the Golan Heights.

Participation in the Organization’s missions will help improve the combat training of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan.
