The Ministry of Defense has prepared a draft resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On approval of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Italian Republic regarding the status of burial places of military personnel who died during the Second World War.”

The draft resolution was developed in order to carry out internal state procedures for the entry into force of the agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Italy, concluded in Rome on January 18, 2024.

The document creates a legal basis for cooperation regarding the status of burial places of Kazakh and Italian military personnel who died on the territories of the parties during the Second World War.
