The Science Foundation met with representatives of the innovation platform “PLUG AND PLAY TECH CENTER”

PLUG AND PLAY TECH CENTER is a platform that brings together startups, corporations, venture capital firms, universities and government agencies. The company is represented in over 40 locations on five continents with headquarters in Silicon Valley.

The center has its own venture fund for introducing innovations in various industries, where they have invested in hundreds of successful companies, including Dropbox, Guardant Health, Honey, PayPal.

Plug and Play tech center strives to cooperate with promising corporations, government agencies, universities, as well as venture funds and startups.

During the meeting, the Science Foundation discussed issues of interaction within the framework of venture financing, touched upon acceleration mechanisms and DeepTech projects, their export and further scaling.

The parties agreed to continue cooperation in this direction.

In addition, Kamil Akatov held a meeting with the vice-president of the Agency for Research, Development and Innovation of Saudi Arabia Abdulrahman Alsufiany (Research Development and Innovation authority).

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation and commercialization of applied scientific projects. The possibilities of interaction in terms of intellectual property, attracting venture investors, exporting domestic projects and their promotion on the international market were also considered.

The Agency expressed interest in further cooperation with the Science Foundation in this direction.
