The Central State Museum is hosting the 2nd international scientific forum “Uly Dalanyn Ulttyk Dasturleri”, dedicated to the national holiday Nauryz Meiramy.
The forum involves scientists and museum specialists not only from Kazakhstan, but also from Central Asia. They consider issues of history, cultural and linguistic uniqueness of the Turkic-speaking peoples, as well as prospects for interaction in all areas of scientific and cultural cooperation. Seminars on the exchange of museum experience and scientific and practical webinars were organized.
As part of the forum, the opening of the ethnographic exhibition “Tarbiye basy - tal besik”, designed to popularize the heritage of the Kazakh people from Turkic times to the present day, and the national educational system, took place.
The presented exhibits show how much the Kazakhs paid special attention to the spiritual and physical development of children, starting from the moment of their birth. The oldest exhibit is a willow cradle made without nails. This unique relic was donated to the museum fund by the famous traveler and photographer Taimas Nurtayev.
The exhibition will last until April 15.
