On April 15, the joint order “On the implementation of a pilot project for the provision of public services “Issuing permission to travel through the territory of a foreign state to carriers of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan” comes into force

Based on this order, Uzbek permit forms of the type “to/from third countries” for the transportation of goods have been transferred to electronic format and will be issued at checkpoints to Kazakh carriers upon their crossing of the state border.

From March 28 to April 15 of this year, Uzbek permit forms of the type “to/from third countries” will be issued in paper form at the border, and from April 15 in electronic form also at the border.

This mechanism will allow bona fide carriers to simplify cargo transportation from the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as eliminate speculation on places in line and permit forms.

In turn, a paper foreign permit form issued at the state border must be returned to the Transport Control Inspectorate at the place of registration of the carrier.
