The Ministry of Culture and Information, in order to support the creation and popularization of works in the genres of traditional, classical, pop and theatrical art, announces the holding of the republican competition “Dala Dauysy”. The total prize fund of the creative competition is 47 million tenge.

The Republican competition is held in order to support the authors of new works aimed at preserving and developing national culture, strengthening spiritual values ​​in society, as well as the moral and patriotic education of the younger generation.

The competition includes 15 awards in 5 categories: “Best folk music”, “Best classical music”, “Best dramatic work”, “Best work of musical and theatrical genre”, “Republic of Ani” in the pop genre.

In addition, there are two special prizes from the Ministry of Culture and Information.
The winners and laureates will be determined privately by a specially created jury. Its members included famous cultural and artistic figures of Kazakhstan.
Works by Kazakh composers and writers that have been created over the past two years and have not previously been publicly performed will be accepted for participation in the competition. It is expected that the project will reveal new names in contemporary art to the public.

Applications are accepted from April 1 to October 1, 2024 on paper at the address: Astana, st. Kalibek Kuanyshbaeva 8/1, office No. 229.
The winners will be awarded in October 2024.
