From April 17 to April 21, 2024, the VII International Book Fair “Astana Eurasian Book Fair - 2024” will be held at the Congress Center.

The organizer of the book exhibition-fair “Astana Eurasian Book Fair-2024” is the publishing house “Foliant”. "Foliant" is a diversified Kazakh publishing house that has been working in the publishing industry since 1996. Every year, the publishing house translates and publishes hundreds of the best works in the world into Kazakh. The range of volumes includes masterpieces of Kazakh literature, world classics, thousands of types of scientific and educational works.

About 70 companies from Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Uzbekistan, Spain and China, representing publishing, book trading, educational and printing companies, will take part in the exhibition “Astana Eurasian Book Fair - 2024”.

The main goal of this year’s project is to encourage children and teenagers to read books, promote family reading, develop the reading taste of young people, offer readers the best modern range of book products from leading publishers, and exchange experience in the field of book products. global book publishing and publishing industry, establishing contacts with global publishing houses and promoting collaboration in the publishing industry that demonstrates achievements.

The international book fair “Astana Eurasian Book Fair - 2024” consists of a five-day cultural and business program, equally interesting for adults and children.Guests and participants of the exhibition will be treated to presentations of children's literature, fiction, scientific and educational literature from leading Kazakh and foreign publishing houses, autograph sessions with famous poets and writers, and round tables where current issues of book publishing are discussed. . During the five-day exhibition, readings, master classes and other interesting events will take place every day in the playground.

Also, on April 18-19, 2024, as part of the International Book Fair, the Astana Publishing Fellowship program, known as “Professional Meetings of Publishers,” will be held. The goal of the program is to expand the publishing industry of Kazakhstan from the local to the global level, take an example from global publishing experience, and also improve the quality of publishing services. In addition to Kazakh publishers, publishers from Turkey, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Russia and other CIS countries and neighboring countries will take part in the program, organized for the first time this year. Over two days, publishers, editors and copyright officers will participate in B2B business meetings lasting half an hour each.

The opening ceremony of the book exhibition will be attended by famous government and public figures, poets and writers, and ambassadors of foreign countries. The opening ceremony will take place on April 17 at 11:00 in G. It will take place in the foyer of the Congress Center at 12 Aliyeva Street.
