The regions continue to eliminate the consequences of floods, as well as carry out flood control measures and emergency rescue operations.

To date, 16 thousand people have returned to their homes. There are 6,950 people in temporary accommodation centers, of which 3,113 are children.

Thanks to operational measures, residents and pets were evacuated from emergency zones in advance. Since the beginning of the flood, 116,949 people have been rescued and evacuated, of which 40,781 are children, including 3,878 people, of which 1,501 are children, rescued by the involved aircraft. 112,539 farm animals were driven to safety.

The flood situation on rivers and reservoirs is being monitored using aerial surveys and the use of drones.

In Akmola, Aktobe, Kostanay, Atyrau, and North Kazakhstan regions, water was diverted from 3,709 residential buildings and 2,475 courtyard areas. 5,837 private residential buildings and 1,353 courtyard areas remain flooded. More than 9.8 million m3 of melt water were pumped out, 2.9 million bags and 1.4 million tons of inert material were laid.

3,577 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to the affected regions by rail, road transport and aircraft.

1,857 calls to the hotline were processed. Psychologists from the Emergency Medicine Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continue to provide emergency psychological assistance to citizens locally and through hotlines.

81 road overflows, 69 road washouts, including 10 bridges and 59 road surfaces, remain under control.There are 72 settlements under control without transport links, where the necessary supplies of food and medicine have been created and delivered.

In the North Kazakhstan region, due to rising water levels in the Yesil River in villages, work continues on early evacuation from the villages of Kustovoe, Vagulina, Krasnoyarka, Sokolovka, Dolmatovo in the Kyzylzhar region, 27 private residential buildings are flooded. A total of 2,465 people were evacuated and placed in evacuation centers and with relatives. 211 private residential houses and one building in the Podgora microdistrict of Petropavlovsk were also flooded. Residents were evacuated in advance. Monitoring of the level of the Yesil River continues.

In the Aktobe region, 96 people were evacuated in advance from the village of Kuyylys, Irgiz district, by aircraft to a temporary accommodation center in the village of Irgiz, and 2 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered. In the village of Kuyylys, bank protection work on the Torgai River continues. In the village of Nura, 24 private residential buildings were flooded.

In the West Kazakhstan region, 40 people were evacuated in advance from dacha areas in the city of Uralsk and placed with relatives. 223 people were transported from the settlements of Karatobe and Zhalpaktau in the Karatobinsky and Kaztalovsky districts through the Kaldygayty and Karaozen rivers. Work on the construction and strengthening of protective dams and monitoring of water levels on the Ural River continues.

In the Akmola region, in the village of Ishimskoye, Zhaksyn district, 6 private residential buildings were flooded. Residents were evacuated in advance.

In the Kostanay region, from the village of Tauysh to the village of Torgai, Dzhangeldinsky district, residents were transported by boat and by helicopter and 2 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered.

In the Turkestan region, due to heavy precipitation in the form of rain in mountainous areas and the flow of water from the mountain slope in the village of Akbastau, Baidibek district, 17 courtyard areas were flooded. Work has been carried out on laying bags, cleaning the ditch system and draining water. There is no threat to the populated area.

In the Zhambyl region, due to heavy rainfall, 30 courtyard areas and buildings in the village of Zhasorken, Zhambyl region, were flooded. Water from flooded areas has been pumped out in full, a total of 7138 cubic meters.

To date, over 46,417 people, more than 4,351 pieces of equipment, 873 water pumping and 308 swimming equipment, 16 aircraft of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Security Committee, the Civil Defense, akimats and organizations are involved in emergency rescue operations around the clock.
