Kazakhstan-France: cooperation in the field of healthcare

Today there was a meeting between the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan Didier Canesse.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening Kazakh-French cooperation in the field of healthcare and continuing the implementation of previously reached agreements.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the joint Roadmap, which includes measures to prevent and prevent the spread of cancer, strengthening rehabilitation services, developing health insurance, improving the qualifications of medical personnel, introducing digital health projects, as well as joint work in investment projects.

The Minister of Health highly appreciated the assistance from the French side in attracting investments worth more than 1 million euros to further improve and modernize cancer care. These investments will be aimed at introducing new modern diagnostic and treatment methods, which will improve the quality of medical care in the country.

In addition, during the meeting, the Minister of Health called for support for the initiative to create a Coalition of Primary Health Care Countries, which will promote the development of primary health care and become the basis of a reliable and sustainable health care system.
