April 25 this year A meeting was held between the Vice Minister of Industry and Construction Zhannat Dubirova and the Deputy Governor of Fujian Province Wang Jinfu in order to develop long-term relations between Kazakhstan and the PRC.

Also present during the meeting from the Chinese side were Deputy Secretary General of Fujian Province Yuou Side, Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Fujian Province Liu Depei, and Deputy Mayor of Chuangzhou Wang Zhihong.

Kazakhstan and China have positive experience of working together in the form of successful projects in various industries. In the field of mechanical engineering, these are the existing production of cars, buses and equipment manufactured by JAC, YUTONG, LOVOL, YTO, DONG FENG and Golden Dragon. It is also worth noting the production of glass in the Kyzylorda region through a partnership with the company China Glass Int., the launch of a gas chemical complex for the production of polypropylene, the partner of which is the large company CNCEC.

During the meeting, the possibilities and prospects for the participation of companies from Fujian province in the industrial development of Kazakhstan were discussed.

The Chinese side emphasized that Kazakhstan is a strategically important partner in Central Asia, thereby showing openness and readiness for further cooperation.

Due to the stable growth of the mechanical engineering sector, as well as the successful experience of partnership with the NFC company in the implementation of projects such as the Kazakhstan Electrolysis Plant, Aktogay and Bozshakol, a proposal was announced to produce lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles in Kazakhstan.

The parties also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the areas of construction, mineral extraction and industrial cooperation.
