The traditional charity event Charity Spring Fest was held at Maqsut Narikbayev University. Charity Spring Fest is a festival dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz and the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.

As part of the event, a charity fair was held, at which the embassies of Indonesia, Turkmenistan, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Japan and the cultural center of India demonstrated their national dishes, souvenirs, dance and music performances.

Also at the festival, everyone had the opportunity to participate in national games. Particularly noted participants received valuable prizes.

In his welcoming speech, Chairman of the Board of Maqsut Narikbayev University Talgat Narikbayev noted the importance of holding the event in order to support citizens affected by floods and thanked the embassies that supported this initiative.

“Every year, according to tradition, at our university our students are immersed in the atmosphere of the national culture of different countries at the spring festival SPRING FEST. This year, we will send all funds raised at the fair to flood-affected regions. “I express my deep gratitude to the embassies that supported our good initiative, let’s together continue to provide support to those who need help,” he said.

Let us note that this event is held at the university annually and this year the funds raised at the fair will be donated to funds for flood victims.
