The main goal of the project is to provide each hero with well-deserved recognition in history.

As the Head of State noted at the III meeting of the National Kurultai “Adal adam – Adal enbek – Adal tabys”, the state is consistently working to preserve the memory of our compatriots who performed unprecedented military and labor feats during the war.

The site has collected information from various sources and is an eternal monument to the feat of the people of Kazakhstan. The pilot was in 2023 and received a lot of interest from civil society and volunteers. The functionality was expanded, and the data was systematized into a full-fledged portal.

Today, the portal contains information about more than 100 thousand Kazakh veterans. We hope that by the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War, the portal will combine data on all veterans.

We invite every citizen of Kazakhstan to contribute to the project by adding information about veterans. Everyone can help the project supplement the site by donating preserved documents from personal family archives for copying. This could be photographs, documents, letters from the front and other materials.

This portal is the result of the overall joint work of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State Archives, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, volunteers and civil society.
