Three of our country’s strongest young engineers arrived at the largest scientific and engineering competition, Regeneron ISEF 2024, in Los Angeles, where 2,000 schoolchildren from 70 countries will compete for a prize fund of more than $9 million.
Members of the Kazakhstan national team were selected at the final stage of the republican competition of scientific projects of the current academic year, consisting of:
Alikhan Zharbolov – 11th grader at the Almaty Russian Physics and Mathematics School with his mathematical project;
Abilmansur Rakhmettullayev – a 12th grade student at the Haileybury Astana International School with a project in computer science;
Sayazhan Zhaksygalieva is an 11th-grader at the Miras International School in Astana with a project in chemistry.
