The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the start of accepting applications for participation in the annual National Competition “Mereyli Otbasy”.

The competition is aimed at reviving moral values ​​and cultivating a positive image of family and marriage (matrimony), improving the status of the family.

Families with achievements in work and sports, creative and intellectual spheres, science and art, as well as those engaged in socially useful activities can take part in it.

An application for participation in the competition is submitted to the district (city) commission from May 15 to June 15, 2024.

The competition is held in two stages:
1. district (city) stage (from June 15 to July 1).
2. regional (city of republican significance, capital) stage (from July 3 to July 17).

The title of laureate of the National Competition “Mereyli Otbasy” will be awarded to the 20 best families from all regions of Kazakhstan.
The award ceremony will take place in Astana.

It should be noted that over the years, more than 20,000 families from all regions of Kazakhstan took part in the competition. Those wishing to participate this year can send their applications to the regional commissions.
