The first international musical cultural and educational week “Ün Music Week” with the open-air festival “Jibek Joly. Limitless Sound. Over the course of 4 days, the showcase festival will bring together performers from 9 countries and foreign music industry experts from 12 countries at various city venues.

The event was organized with the support of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the SCO Digital Support Platform, the Ministry of Culture and Information, the international non-profit organization GloMMnet, TurkSib Music Initiative, the Akimat of Almaty, etc.

The showcase festival will offer viewers and experts a unique palette of traditional and modern ethnic music, demonstrating the diversity of cultures and peoples.

During educational and discussion panels, trends in the Central Asian music industry, features of music markets in various regions of the world, and the role of the state in the development of musical culture will be discussed.

Open Air festival “Jibek Joly. Limitless Sound" will demonstrate the first "seamless" show in Central Asia, where performers from different countries will present the traditional art of their peoples through a palette of modern instrumental and electronic interpretation of the sounds of the Silk Road as a single musical, theatrical canvas.

Also during the week, a round table was held dedicated to international experience and prospects for cultural exchange, at which topics related to the development of the music industry, the exchange of cultural experiences and the socio-economic impact of music festivals were discussed.

On May 23-24, a conference will be held dedicated to current issues in the development of the music industry in the modern world, with a special focus on World Music and the Central Asian region. Leading experts and industry professionals from 13 countries will discuss key trends, challenges and opportunities facing musicians, producers and others in the music community.

The final chord will be the gala concert, open air festival “Jibek Joly. Limitless Sound”, which will take place on May 25 in the park near Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater.

The event aims to highlight the growing role of Kazakhstan and Central Asia on the international music scene and help strengthen cultural ties and global solidarity.
