Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Iskakov met with Deputy Head of the State Radio and Television Administration of the People's Republic of China Yang Guozhui.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of implementation of a number of joint projects, as well as issues of developing cooperation in the field of radio broadcasting and television.

Kanat Iskakov noted that for many years the countries have been actively developing partnerships in various fields, including the spheres of culture and information.

“We are proud that cooperation between Kazakh and Chinese media continues to develop successfully. It is important to note the participation of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan in a seminar for employees of SCO member countries in April of this year in Hefei. This emphasizes the active role of Kazakhstan in the development of media cooperation within the framework of regional initiatives, the vice minister said.

In turn, Yang Guozhui thanked for the warm welcome and voiced proposals for developing further cooperation.
