The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan awarded Kazakhstani schoolchildren

On the eve of the International Children's Day, children who distinguished themselves with their achievements, leaders of children's movements and child heroes who saved the lives of people from all regions of our country arrived in the capital. The merits of the brave children were noted with letters of gratitude from the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Addressing schoolchildren, the Vice Minister of Education noted that the state is creating comfortable and favorable conditions for children.

“This year we traditionally gathered the most talented and courageous children on the eve of the holiday - Children's Day. You are the most valuable thing the country, the people, your parents have, because you are our future. Today, the state is making every effort to create comfortable conditions for the upbringing, education and development of our children. We build schools, kindergartens, cultural and sports facilities, improve the legislative framework and train teachers. You are under our protection. You just need to strive for knowledge, high victories and the desire to become simply healthy, honest and fair people, because the future of our country is in your hands,” said Edil Ospan.
Then the meeting continued in the format of an open dialogue, where the children talked about themselves, their family, achievements at school, hobbies, interests and dreams.

Particular attention is paid to child heroes from the city of Astana and Kostanay regions. Among them are Akan, Ramil, Matvey and Ivan. More recently, schoolchildren saved the lives of people from burning houses and from falling out of windows. Young heroes and their parents were awarded letters of gratitude from the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“Thanks to my parents and teachers for the education they gave me.I thank our country and the President for believing in us and constant support,” said Akan Akimzhanov, 7th grader at the capital’s gymnasium school No. 31.
At the end of the meeting, all participants were presented with gifts and vouchers to republican children's health centers, and also conducted trainings on leadership development, where the children exchanged opinions and suggestions. A rich program awaited them throughout the day. They visited cultural and leisure centers of Astana.
