The “Jas Kenes Siylygy” competition will be held in Kazakhstan for the first time

19 June, 2024

Today in Astana a new project “Jas Kenes Siylygy” was presented. The competition is an independent youth award established by the Youth Policy Council under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The initiative is aimed at supporting and motivating young professionals.

“Unlike other similar competitions, executives and top managers cannot participate in Jas Kenes Siylygy. The target audience of the project is young professionals. The prize is awarded in order to encourage young Kazakhstanis working in sectors and areas that are important for Kazakhstani society, whose daily work and feats are often invisible to most compatriots,” said Adil Kusmanov, a member of the Youth Policy Council under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstanis under the age of 35 can participate in the competition. Applications are accepted in 7 categories: “Janqiarlyq”, “Altyn jürek”, “Önerkäsıp”, “Bolaşaq turaly qamqorlyq”, “Adamgerşılık”, “Kömek qoly” and “Bızdıñ üi”.

In addition to basic information, applicants must provide letters of recommendation and motivation. After the selection, they will have an interview with the founders of the award, based on the results of which two winners will be selected in each category. The laureates of “Jas Kenes Siylygy” will receive 1 million tenge.

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted from June 18 to July 21, 2024 on the website https://www.jaskenes.kz/application

The founder of the award is the Youth Policy Council under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
