The Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, met with the Chairman of the Woosong Educational Foundation, Kim Jong Hyun. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Educational Foundation and Woosong University, as well as the Turkestan region.

The main issue of the meeting was the opening of a branch of Woosong University in Turkestan, discussion of inter-university cooperation between Kazakh universities and with representatives of the Woosong Educational Foundation.

The minister emphasized the importance of cooperation and named the issues that need to be resolved first of all to open a branch in Turkestan. During the meeting, the parties discussed the design criteria for the new university. The Minister also noted the importance of preparing internal modules and detailed discussion of the program.

Representatives of the Woosong Educational Foundation invited the Minister to Korea to get acquainted with the university and further discuss prospects for cooperation.
