The V World Nomad Games will be held from September 8 to 13 in Astana. The program included 21 sports. Of these, half are Kazakh national sports, the rest are national sports of many Turkic countries. Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zharasbayev announced this at the CCS site.

“The participation of delegations from 89 countries has been confirmed at the Games. More than 2,500 athletes are expected to arrive,” the speaker said during a press conference.
Speaking about sports infrastructure, the vice minister noted that the “one line” concept will be applied.

“Sports facilities located on Kabanbay Batyr and Turan avenues will be used. 7 main sports facilities. The grand opening of the competition will take place at the Astana Arena, at the Martial Arts Palace. Zh. Ushkempirov there will be competitions in types of wrestling, the track and field arena will be used for accreditation. Also, to host national equestrian sports, the Kazanat hippodrome is being reconstructed. Competitions in togyzkumalak, mangal and other sports will be held at the Duman hotel,” said S. Zharasbaev.

In addition, an international scientific and practical conference will be organized as part of the event.
