On the eve of the Day of Media Workers, a solemn event was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by journalists, television and photo operators from Kazakh and foreign television channels, as well as news publications.
In his welcoming speech, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu thanked media representatives for their contribution and dedicated work in covering the policies of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Professional work and an objective position were noted, which contributes to the dissemination of reliable information about our country and its policies abroad.
The minister emphasized that media professionals are always highly respected and called on journalists to always be committed to justice and truth. According to him, the modern image of Kazakhstan would not be so positive without the efforts of diplomats and journalists. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted that joint work helps the country take its rightful place on the world stage. This is important for strengthening the image of Kazakhstan, developing cooperation and friendly relations with other states.
For their contribution to information support of our country’s foreign policy and on the eve of the professional holiday, a number of Kazakh and foreign journalists were awarded letters of gratitude on behalf of the head of the foreign policy department of Kazakhstan.
After the ceremonial part, the journalists, in an open and confidential conversation, discussed with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs various aspects of interaction between the media and the country’s diplomatic department.
