The Ministry of Foreign Affairs celebrated the Day of Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a ceremonial meeting on the eve of the Diplomatic Service Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated annually on July 2.

The event was attended by veterans of the diplomatic service, representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Government Office and employees of the Central Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Nurtleu congratulated the staff of the Foreign Ministry on their professional holiday and noted that, thanks to their deep knowledge, life and professional experience, diplomats work hard for the prosperity of our state.

“Kazakhstan is currently at the center of regional and global processes. Our country, as a state with great international authority and regional influence, is overcoming new frontiers of its development. This is, among other things, the result of the daily, painstaking work of Kazakh diplomats,” the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

In his speech, he also noted the selfless work of the ministry’s staff in implementing the foreign policy determined by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

In honor of Diplomatic Service Day, a number of veterans and diplomats were awarded state awards, and employees of the department were also awarded the next diplomatic ranks.
