The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in order to redistribute the regional quota for the admission of candidates and migrants, according to the current needs of the regions, amends the order of the head of the department dated December 27, 2023 No. 530 “On establishing a regional quota for the reception of candidates and migrants for 2024.” The draft order is posted on the Open Legal Entities portal for public discussion until July 16 of this year.

The document provides for an increase in the regional quota for accepting migrants by 600 people by reducing the regional quota for accepting migrants by the same number within the framework of the generally established quota.

The need to change regional quotas is due to an increase in the number of candidates arriving in labor-deficient regions (northern regions).
