The exhibition “The Soul of Traditions. Treasures of the steppes." The exhibition includes more than 60 works of traditional and modern decorative and applied art of Kazakhstan.

Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the works of Kazakh folk craftsmen and professional artists. Among the exhibits are felt, woven and embroidered carpets, tapestries, horse harnesses, wood, leather and metal products.

Particular attention is paid to woven carpets and embroidered wall hangings - tuskiiz, which symbolize family happiness and well-being. Also on display are tapestries, an important form of contemporary decorative art in Kazakhstan.

The exhibition highlights the importance of preserving and studying folk art in the context of modern culture and will run until August 30, 2024.
