TASHKENT. KAZINFORM - In order to optimize air traffic, a new navigation route called “T-916” has been opened since July 11 for aircraft flying between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, Kazinform correspondent in Tashkent Alikhan Askar reports.
According to the Uzaeronavigatsiya center, on the day the new route opened, a plane of the German airline Lufthansa made its first flight on it.

“Using this route will reduce the distance by 40 kilometers and save 30-50 tons of aviation fuel per year. At the same time, oxygen consumption will decrease by 50-70 tons, and the volume of harmful emissions released into the atmosphere will decrease by 220-250 tons per year.” , - says the Uzaeronavigatsiya center.
Let us note that the agreement on the opening of the specified navigation route was concluded between the enterprises Uzaeronavigatsia and Kazaeronavigatsia.
